About The Meadows at Mossy Creek Wedding Venue
When it first opened in 2019, the owners of Meadows at Mossy Creek were relatively new to the venue business. They did, however, have a clear vision of how they wanted to help couples have extraordinary wedding days. The drive to welcome and serve their clients quickly helped them grow to one of the most popular wedding venues in North Georgia. Today, discerning couples from around the country choose to host their wedding at Meadows at Mossy Creek.
Meadows at Mossy Creek allows clients to feature indoor and outdoor spaces to make the most of the gorgeous property. Their contemporary venue space is ideal for a modern wedding with a country flair, surrounded by spectacular mountain views and rustic woodlands.
As a bonus, their property is also home to three gorgeous cottages available for rent. Turn your wedding day into a wedding weekend by booking one or more of these unique accommodations and celebrating with friends and family in the days leading up to and following your wedding. Each cottage is designed as a triplex with three separate units roughly the size of a hotel room and has a private bathroom, smart TV, and other amenities. The cottages are near the venue space but tucked back into the woods, so you’ll still feel like you’re on a secluded getaway.

Start your wedding day at Meadows at Mossy Creek by getting ready with your closest friends and family in their stunning Bridal Cottage. The space features multiple salon-style chairs and mirrors, perfect for pampering before your ceremony. With clean white walls, natural accents, and tons of bright light streaming through the windows, it’s a beautiful and relaxing place to prepare for the day. It’s also a photographer’s dream when it comes to beautiful getting-ready photos that capture all the anticipation and excitement you’ll feel.
And don’t worry, your partner and their party won’t be left out, either. The Groom’s Room is just as cozy, equipped with everything they’ll need to get ready and unwind. Did I mention there’s even a small outdoor putting green to keep them busy until the action begins?
Once it’s time for your wedding to begin, your guests (up to 275 of them) will gather at the ceremony site to watch you exchange your vows. Their primary ceremony spot sits atop a hill overlooking an expansive green lawn surrounded by groves of thick woodlands. In the distance, mountain peaks rise into the sky, creating a truly magical ambiance with fantasy vibes. Choose from one of their arbor options to stand before as you say “I do,” and decorate it with your signature florals and décor.
Cocktail Hour & Reception
Then, your guests can enjoy a celebratory cocktail hour in their 3000-square-foot courtyard and patio. Heaters will keep everyone cozy on a breezy evening, and contemporary design accents make it a lovely place to socialize over a delicious drink.
Your reception will occur in their gorgeous farmhouse-style venue with over 5,000 square feet of event space. Designed with white walls and black accent features, it’s a chic space with rustic touches that gently imply “barn wedding.” Big windows let in floods of natural light, and high vaulted ceilings make the room feel even more grand.
A stylish fern wall can serve as a backdrop for a sweetheart or head table or use it as a photo backdrop. Plus, its neutral design is a perfect blank canvas for any vision you may have for your dream wedding. Whatever your color palette, it will look right at home at Meadows at Mossy Creek.

The Bridal Suite and Groom’s Room are both incredibly picturesque spaces that are great for spontaneous getting-ready shots leading up to the ceremony. Outside, breathtaking views of mountains, rolling hills, and lush trees make beautiful backdrops for photos that feel practically ethereal.
During Golden Hour, as the sun begins to set, the entire property glows; we’ll be sure to sneak away from the celebration to take those stunning sunset photos you’ll love. We can also sneak inside before your reception to take some elegant pictures in the space with your décor set up just as you’ve dreamed it would be.
Wedding Details
Meadows at Mossy Creek knows the significance of helping you ensure your dream wedding comes to life. As such, they’ve included plenty of amenities and features to ensure everything is as close to perfect as possible.
You’ll have full access to their event space, courtyard and patio, bridal suite, groom’s room, and ceremony space for 14 hours on your wedding day. Their team will take care of your setup and teardown of tables and chairs, and at least two venue staff members will be on-site to ensure things are running smoothly.
Meadows at Mossy Creek believes every wedding should be unique, just as you have your own unique vision for how the day should look and run. As such, they don’t offer any all-inclusive packages. However, they allow you to bring in your choice of vendors, creating a customized wedding unique to your preferences! All caterers need to be fully licensed, and licensed bartenders are required to serve alcohol. It’s all worth it to curate the wedding of your dreams!
