About The Juliette Chapel Wedding Venue

Juliette Chapel is a sweet, intimate venue in the small town of Dahlonega, Georgia, nestled into the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Fun Fact: Dahlonega is considered the heart of Georgia wine country, making it an excellent destination for any visiting guests who need a fun and picturesque way to spend a little time in the area!

The venue has two spaces: a bright, elegant, non-denominational chapel and a cozy indoor reception space, both of which can accommodate guests of up to 70 people. Tucked into the woods, it’s the perfect secluded space for a wedding that embraces the beauty of nature while also providing you the freedom to bring in your own unique decor and personal taste.

Details of the Grounds

Begin your special day by preparing for your ceremony in the cozy Bridal Suite tucked away into the reception space. With a private bath and salon-style seating, there’s plenty of space for hair and makeup and relaxing before the big moment arrives. There is, however, only one dressing room space, so your partner and their party may want to consider getting ready for the day somewhere offsite, like a nearby Airbnb!

The chapel itself is a simplistic and elegant space, with room for up to 70 guests to join you as you marry the love of your life. The room has high vaulted ceilings made of beams of light-colored wood. Elegant wrought iron chandeliers hang from the ceiling for extra light and a touch of sophistication. Handmade benches line the aisle, blending seamlessly with the space’s rich wooden floors. The walls have big, beautiful windows that bring gorgeous views of the surrounding forest.

Behind the altar is a floor-to-ceiling window that frames your vows with beautiful treetops and sky. Bring in your own arch, cross, or focal point to dress up the space and add your personalized touch, or leave the chapel unstyled – it certainly doesn’t need much as beautiful as it already is.

The Cocktail Hour & Reception

For a cocktail hour, your guests can mingle on the outdoor patio, complete with an outdoor bar, twinkling bistro lights, and three wine barrels for a playful, decorative touch. If you have your heart set on an outdoor reception, you can set up tables and chairs outside for an intimate al fresco celebration under the stars. The property’s beauty will lend itself perfectly to dining outside. If you’re worried about the weather, the venue will also allow you to rent a tent on the grounds.

Their beautiful reception room can also accommodate up to 70 comfortably for an indoor reception. The space has a gorgeous fireplace with an easily decorated mantel that makes a perfect backdrop for a sweetheart or head table. With white walls and wooden trim, it’s a space that can accommodate any decorative color palette or design choices you decide to use for your wedding. They provide banquet tables and wood cross-back chairs for your reception, but you must bring your own linens, glassware, flatware, etc.

While the room is a little on the smaller side, you can always push a table or two out of the way after dinner to make a little space for dancing (there’s a Bluetooth audio system in the reception space), or you can choose to dance outside on the patio or lawn.

Photography Opportunities

The bright and airy interiors of the chapel and reception space are irresistible for photos full of natural light and warmth. With all of the windows and the beautiful views they display, indoor pictures can be a great way to capture group shots and details of your wedding’s unique design and décor.

We’ll take advantage of the outdoor photo ops, too, with the rustic landscaping, forest setting, and open sky. And when that golden sunlight hits as the sun begins to set, we’ll capture all the glowing, sun-dappled moments for those extra-romantic couple portraits you’ll treasure forever.

Wedding Details

Suppose you’re looking for an extra hand when planning your wedding and making all those important vendor decisions. In that case, Juliette Chapel can provide you with a Coordination Package or an all-inclusive planning package with This is the Moment Events. They’ll help account for every detail so that you can have a stress-free and budget-friendly wedding.

One major perk about Juliette Chapel is the freedom to choose any vendor; you can bring in your caterer, florist, bartender and alcohol, and more. This means you can customize your wedding to your and your partner’s tastes and preferences. There’s also flexibility for you to add your unique touches, like bringing in a fire pit (with some safety rules and regulations) so your guests can enjoy the quiet outdoors while making s’mores or hosting a fun food truck for your first meal together as a married couple!

The Setup & Teardown

There will not be a representative on site for setup and teardown, so they highly recommend bringing in a coordinator. That way, you can focus on getting yourself ready for the day rather than being overwhelmed by a to-do list, ensuring everything looks perfect and runs smoothly. When it comes to cleanup at the end of the night, you are also responsible for leaving the space as neat and tidy as it was left to you.

However, if you don’t want to think about cleaning up at the end of your wedding day (and who does?!), you can pay a very reasonable fee to have a team clear the space for you.

Additionally, you can also pay a little extra for early entry into the space (the fee is small but hourly). If there is availability on their calendar, you can also pay to come in early the day before your wedding to rehearse in the space or begin setting up for your event.

Juliette Chapel Wedding

If you and your partner are searching for a venue that feels as beautifully secluded as it does organic and elegant, you’ll definitely want to consider a Juliette Chapel wedding. Take a day to tour the venue for yourself in person, and be sure to stop at a few of Dahlonega’s premier wineries while you’re out there!
