Here amidst the quiet of nature, you can build your dream home, enjoy a relaxing round of golf, or enjoy time out on the beautiful Lake Hartwell. The club itself has a variety of year-round activities for the entire family to enjoy. Their five-acre Currahee Club Sports Complex features a zero-entry saltwater swimming pool, lit tennis courts, bocce ball, sand volleyball, and even a playground. Members and residents love to visit the pool to get in a great workout, sunbathe in a lounge chair, or enjoy a drink gathered around a cozy firepit.
Currahee Club also offers access to Lake Hartwell with its lakefront park and boat rentals. You can enjoy the serenity and beauty of lakefront living, enjoying the lake’s 960 miles of shoreline that covers two states and six counties. Fishermen love fishing for striped bass, while outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy renting a kayak or sailing aboard the club pontoon for a day of relaxation.

If you’re considering hosting a wedding at Currahee Club but aren’t currently a member, there’s no worry – while members may save a little extra on the cost of a venue rental, non-members are welcome to enjoy the beauty and amenities of their spectacular facility while celebrating the best day of their lives.

Exchange your vows in one of three beautiful locations, either indoors or outdoors. Inside, you can say “I do” in the Great Room with giant windows overlooking the breathtaking mountain views. Outdoors, take advantage of every single facet of the surrounding property, including panoramic views of Lake Hartwell.
With your ceremony on the Back Lawn, you can accommodate up to 150 guests while overlooking the sparkling lake, mountains, and wide open sky. The Grand Lawn accommodates an additional 50 guests and uses the beautiful clubhouse as an elegant backdrop.
Then, when it comes time to celebrate, you can host your reception inside the Clubhouse. The Great Room (for up to 100 guests), the Overlook Dining Room (100 guests), and the Fazio Pub (50 guests) all feature broad, beautiful windows with expansive views of the mountains.
